Y2 1607P's paternal and maternal grandsire is the pinnacle of Charolais royalty and is widely considered the finest EPD bull which produces the best all around cows. Additional top name bulls in his pedigree include Cigar E46, Gain & Grade, Hercules, Sir Duke, Impressive, and D'Artagan.
As you can see from his EPDs, Y2 DoublStandard 1607P in a Trait Leader (top 10%) in weaning weights, yearling weights, maternal characteristics, scrotal circumference, carcass weight, ribeye area, and Terminal Selection Index. Furthermore, he also adds milk and marbling at very respectable values. Y2 1607P accomplishes all of these EPD values without drastic increases in birth weight which is only in the median of the breed.
