Red/Black Cross Wagyu:

Red/Black Cross Wagyu have the potential to be a game changing composite of two distinct and genetically separate Wagyu breeds. Though the combination of these genetics has only been experimented with in Japan in recent year, multiple breeders in the US such as Ultimate Kobe Beef, Chisholm Cattle Company, and V Bar V among others have shown their growth potential while maintaining consistent marbling. Additionally, the potential for Akaushi / Kuroge Washu is promising for multiple niche markets including superior marbling potential on grass pasture which is a hallmark of Red Wagyu / Akaushi.
Red/Black Cross Wagyu have the potential to marry the superior marbling ability and marbling fineness of Black Wagyu with superior Akaushi growth, higher yields, and the ease of fleshing in a multitude of environs including grass fed all while furthering increased heterosis, phenotypical excellence, and increase fertility and longevity.
