Continuing through this pedigree, we find another Australian standout TWA Shikikan as the third sire. As the third dam, we find Westholme Terumiya, a direct daughter of ETJ 003 Kitateruyasudoi J2810 by a Hatsuhi direct daughter: Westholme Morihatsuhi 98/1. |
Y2 Kedakanami D031
High Kedaka Genetics |
Y2 Kedakanami 031 is also steeped in marbling genetics through his dam: JC Itoshigenami 010 sire by TF Itoshigenami 148. TF 148 is one of the most widely used sires in Australia and is considered to be a top 3 bull for fullblood and terminal Wagyu production. He is known for passing fine snow flake marbling to his progeny and is the highest percentage Kumanami strain of Tajima Wagyu outside of Japan. Additionally, JC 010 has growth genetics found through CHR Takazakura 101L. CHR 101L combines the growth and marbling attributed to Takazakura (one of the few grandsons of Yasufuku J930) with several famous Takeda lineages including TF Kikuhana, TF Itohana, TF Itomichi, Dai 3 Kiyohime (Kumanami strain), Kensei (Kedaka heritage), and the famous Japanese grand champions Ezokintou. Rounding out JC 010's parentage are Michifuku and Fujiko. The famous Michifuku is a 100% Tajima bull sired by Monjiro who has extensive carcass data and is widely used in the US to add growth while adding extreme marbling. Fujiko is sired by Haruki II who adds more Kedaka heritage through Kenshin by Kensei. Fujiko's dam was Okutani, one of the original import dams to come to the US from Japan who is also of Kumanami heritage through her sire Okushige by Shigeshigenami.

The combination of these two outstanding Wagyu will yield the desired result of increased growth and decreased days on feed, all while maintaining the superior marbling and increased carcass yield through the infusion of Kedaka genetics coupled with the fine snowflake marbling potential of the Kumanami strain in almost every branch of the family tree. Y2 Kedakanami 031 combines over 38% Kedaka & 12% Tottori for growth and maternal genetics with over 19% Kumanami strain genetics known for fine snow flake marbling.
Y2 Kedakanami D031 is a quadruple threat providing outcross genetics for heavily line bred and tight genetic pools found in the Wagyu breed, proven maternal boosts adding milking ability to a breed known as poor milkers, proven low birth weights, and proven carcass performance in F1, F2, and Fullblood Wagyu. |

Primeline Z044
(F1 Progeny of Primeline Z044)
Z044 is a power house of potent Wagyu genetics. He is a son of the famous Itozurudoi TF 151 known for his balance and carcass ability. Itozurudoi TF151 is 50 percent Tajima, 25 percent Fujiyoshi, and 25 percent Kedaka. He has an extremely big frame, weighs 2,420 lbs., carries early maturing traits that produce great Fullblood mothers with excellent milk, and is the best marbling bull of the Fujiyoshi bloodlines. According to noted Wagyu expert, Shane Lindsay, Itozurudoi TF151 beat Michifuku in every statistical category of comparison in Fullblood Wagyu carcasses. By the time his progeny were tested and his value was discovered, Itozurudoi TF151 was deceased, leaving a very limited supply of semen. |
